ACTIVE - Fitness Events App Reviews

This app is clearly not the best source for searching on upcoming races. I live in Chicago and am very familiar with the Rock and Roll half marathon which typically falls in September. I wanted to figure out what the exact date was for this year. This is a pretty large race and the app doesnt recognize it when I try to use the search function. I verified through google that the race did in fact have a date set for 2016. This app had the potential and fell very short.

If I click on the half marathon category and then put filters and keywords, I should still be filtered on halfs. Too much other junk to weed through.

I turn it any time I need info on a race. Its perfect to help me plan a race when traveling. I also enjoy the discounts.

Would be nice if when you logged in it stayed logged in instead of just cycling back to the log in screen. Make the app pretty useless. Can not use if I cannot log in.

Lets you find lots of local activities to get active in, all in one place. Wish the categories would stop moving around though

So I cant view local races due to my "location services not on" well thats an easy fix, so its on now still wont let me view local races....seems like a good app but I dont want to see races and events in Africa and Europe or in California for that matter.....local race problem is pretty annoying please fix

I love reading ACTIVEs articles and was hoping I could use the app for that but every time I open an article I am only able to read a summary. Some articles I can click on and it will take me to a link but I could just use the website in safari if thats all it is going to do. I was hoping the app would allow me to read the articles easier

Its hard to find active ppl in the south but thankfully this app keeps me updated on all the events nearby.

Downloaded it. Set for 50 miles and the first one in the state is down 15th on the list. Deleting this is a waste of time, sorry. My child could do a better job.

This app is not helpful. It is difficult to navigate on my iPhone. The website is better but again, not on a mobile device.

I really only care about actual events. Ive been tricked by too many so called events on the list, on to really see a virtual event or a training seminar/registration event. I dont care about that stuff, give those people their own section or something. Events should be for true full blown events, where there will be a winner and losers, things will be timed and people will come out to see these athletes compete. Nothing more should be listed.

Nothing is perfect but its a great site.

This app stinks. They improved the active app over the last version. But this app hardly saves my favorites and I cant register for races in it either. I hate that it auto pops up sometimes when I just prefer the online version. The website in a browser doesnt crash in the middle of a page loading or me reading an article....

I love that it gives me info on all the races in my area. Small ones and the bigger ones!
